Reckoned I would be fifteenth pick for a six man team - but as they drop off like flies I am still available for selection.

Consider yourself selected baz. Thats 2 out of 6 runners so far. If any of the injured runners would like to act as one of the timekeepers for the day then that would allow me to run. Timekeepers get their boat fare paid, so leaving more cash for beer

Thankfully my return to fitness continues and I am available for selection if required! Would actually be a good excuse to avoid the inlaws for the day!

What about Peter and Kev - both said they were up for it? Toni might timekeep, she mentioned coming to support anyway - I'll ask...

Laura re- your post about Strachan .
John something along these lines tonight......
Kick door open - belch loudly, find fault with something, quickly move on to why your dinner is not on the table.
After eating regardless of whether it is Michelin star quality, complain bitterly about lack of portion, tastelessness etc.
Follow up with something along lines of "Anyway daftie, you say we never go anywhere - well you're in luck I'm taking you overseas on Sunday. You will need a stopwatch. Now go run my bath...................."

OK.. Rangers don't need me, the team does.. but only on the proviso I don't drive, the thought of a few beers after the run is the attraction !
Barry - I've just realised where i went wrong !
