:DCongratulations Kevan. Every club needs members who prepared to give something back. I'm sure your enthusiasm will help the club continue to thrive.

well done kev gettin in committee be careful not to follow the sheep also feel that 2 heads might be better ie connell if things are going to happen no use in one guy as a lone voice , stift the balance club should be split in equal portions ie road/country, track/field that should apply in committee to sometimes feel that do ayr seaforth really want a strong distance section including committee

hi kev heres a commitee idea as we are poor at middle and distance runnig how can it be fixed as its critical to future of any club league meetings we dont have many young ones and ones we have we often lose gary willis, chalky. tommy lawerance , alison higgins\simpson , lee richardson susan scott, hugh kerr, jason duprey and there are many other these are all veery good athletes who have been with the club but no longer are , for what ever reason some have excelled else where we do have the youth all be it limited or is it being channld into other events saw a exellent middle distance prospect at club few years ago blew away a top national sprinter over rep 300s during winter tryd to encourage him to run other than 100m but felt that there was a brickj wall no chance of being good sprinter but would have definatly been outstanding 800\1500 , an example is myself was fast at 100m as a youngster pe teachers made it difficult simply labeling be as a sprinter competd at 100 1500m most good middle distance guy sprint when young but its always as a step to there real distance example was seb coe who ran 400m but wasnt a sprinter ovett was same ran 100m as a kid but was always targetd for middle long distance few ideas for forward thinkin
