I have been a little perturbed by the fact that all posts seem to end up in a slagging match. I like a bit of banter just as much as the next person but a lot of the recent posting has gone beyond what you might call friendly, particulalry seeing this is a public forum for ayr seaforth athletics club. From now on I am going excercise my discretetion and delete posts that I believe to be offensive or inciteful. So please do me a favour and stay on topic (ie the subject of the thread), post politley and if somebody posts something disparaging please do not respond in kind but rather let me know and I will sort it. Persistent offenders will be banned, you know who you are. I look forward to reading your witty, interesting and entertaining posts. I am getting off my high horse now

The general consensus seems to be that it is good to be able to post as a guest but please consider revealing your identity or at least hinting at it. Its not very fair to snipe at people who are open with theirs and is likely to lead to, at best, a slightly unsavoury feel to the post and at worst you could cause offense. So please please play nice so that we can all use the forum without having to get annoyed by it.

Although the forum is not endorsed or paid for by Ayr Seaforth, it still has an obligation to promote the club and it's member in a fair and positive light.
Any attempt to display the club or it's commitee and members negatively will be frowned upon and their post may be removed and in severe cases if the culprit is a member then they may be banned from the forum.
