Hi Michael, I can't speak in behalf of Ayr Seaforth, but you used to be able to try the club out for a few weeks before registering. If, however, you don't want to join the club then I think this is a blocked booking, so therefore you couldn't train in that allocated time. To confirm this, you should contact the club on info@ayrseaforth.co.uk. I hope this helps, Air C-Forth

Hi Michael You are welcome to join us on Tuesdays & Thursday when we go out usually through the parks for a variety of training runs. Tuesdays are usually speed work, for example next Tues we are doing a pyramid session of 1,2,3,4,5,4,3,2,1 minute efforts (faster) with a recovery period but dint be put off as we have runners of all abilities! Thursdays consist of a longer run of 6 miles+ ! I would think that you would also be able to try the track though I understand their is an induction you would have to book before they let you loose on the track! I will be down at the club next Tuesday or come tomorrow! Good luck!

Hi Michael If you like to run, thats all you need! Some people run to take part in races, like the Troon 10km race last week, others train to keep fit ! Whatever the reasons, you will enjoy the company & if you decide to join the club, you can take part in road races, cross country & many other club competitions! Running only becomes boring if you make it that way! Theres me, Laurence, Tom, Paul, Sean, Alex to name some of the usual suspects & I hope to see you at the club sometime soon! Just say at the desk at Dam Park Stadium that you are new & would like to come along for a few weeks to see whats its like!
