This is for anybody that in not that confident about using this new fangled technology and it is most definitely not just for Iain Baird who isn't having kittens trying to get it to work.
Fist of all, if you haven't registered, do so by clicking on the button just below the title. Fill in your details and create your account. You only have to create your account once, you can log in (the button next to register) on future visits, by entering your username and password that you hopefully remember.
You can browse the subjects being discussed by clicking on them. Click-able things generally are highlighted by a double line above and below or a single line below. If you find a discussion that you can't resist getting involved in then at the top and the bottom of the page is a little reply button. if you click on that you can type in your message and press the post button to make it available for others to see.
You can start new threads by going into the board you want e.g. cross country & road races> fixtures and results. You will find a button that says new thread. If you click on that you can post on a subject of your choice. It is best if you put in a subject in the space provided so that people get a rough idea of what you are talking about without having to go in and look at it.
That concludes my whistle stop guide. There are lots of other little features you can experiment with as you get more proficient.
If you have any other questions just post and I am sure that somebody will be able to help you out.
