- Listen and follow instructions from the coach.
- Use lanes 7&8 to warm up and warm down.
- Do not cross throwing area.
- Leave inside track free for circuit runners.
- Shout 'track' early to clear lane if athletes are in front of you.
- On hearing 'track' move out of lane quickly.
- Use the back straight when sprinting in a clockwise direction.
