The newly formed Ayrshire harriers were in action at the weekend in the YAL (youth athletics league???).
They managed to put out competitors in just about every event, giving them a substantial edge over their rivals. They also finished consistently near the top, lots of 9's and 8's in the results.
The end result was a clear first place with a total of 667 pts and Falkirk VH (victoria harriers???) in second place with 455 pts. So a big congratulations to all that took part.

Didnt win anything in 2007 and 2008 is looking like it will be an equally barren year. I did come second in the 2005 Sport Relief mile along the prom in Ayr, narrowly pipping a 60 year old right at the finish. |
