If you are viewing this Page, The chances are you got here through the webpage "http://ayrseaforth.co.uk".
I'm looking for any feedback on how to improve the webpage as at present, although it serves a purpose, it ain't going to win any adwards.
Also Kevan was looking for feedback on the Forum. So please post your responses on the forum and webpage as it would be much appreciated.
Thanks In Advance Connell

What about a links page on the website. Linking to other clubs and we could ask them to do the same. Also the SAF site. I know of an interesting website, name escapes me at the moment, that does loads of intersting articles on training. Stuff like that?

Hi Guys
Far be it from me to give you advice. This post is simply to encourage.
At Troon we've had a lot of interest in the club from folk who first got to know a bit about us through the forum. It gives a feel for what the club is all about. Hopefully some of the other Seaforth members will join in and support what is a great initiative.
Keep it going.
Alex

Hi Alex,
Thanks for the encouragement. I share your sentiments, it can be quite a daunting thing joining a running club so anything that makes that easier helps.
Getting the other guys involved is proving easier said than done. I might have to get my big stick out if they dont comply
I went a run up the river ayr way last weekend. it proved to be very enjoyable, if a bit muddy. Thanks for the info.
Kevan.

Hi, From talking with non club race entrants at last weeks race, I found that they thought firstly that they had to be good runners to join a club (well we all know thats not true) & also just the thought of turning up when they didnt know anyone at the club was also off puting to some so if there was a section on the forum dedicated to dispelling some of the these myths & perhaps they could be directed to a mobile number to call/txt any questions regarding the club & what we have to offer! We could call it a "welcome page" What do you think!

Hi Peter,
A lot of this has went to the way side since Kevan left. I haven't enough time to put the effort in for both clubs right now so perhaps it's time to pass the Ayr webpage /forum over to someone who's as enthusiastic as yourself.
The best thing, for now, would be for yourself to write up something in the Newbie Questions section on the forum and I'll sticky it to the top and copy details onto the webpage.
Hope this helps, Connell
