For those of you who won't be too full of Christmas cheer. Tues 23rd December session is a pyramid 2 3 4 5 5 4 3 2 ( with a 3 min gap between the 5 min efforts. For info the session on 5th Jan is 6* hill circuit. Will post Jan - March sessions in the new year so you all know which ones to avoid well in advance.

Sure you will get the support you hope for Neil - I'll chuck in a few sheckels. Also for promotional purposes I think you should go to www.elfyourself.com and get the boys to do a boogie !!!

Hey all,
Myself, Stuart Benson, Ian Kennedy, and Kevin Kane are amongst a group of athletes running at the Glasgow Championships on the 30th of December dressed as elves in order to support Macmillan in memory of 'Pistol' Peter Holmes who sadly died in a hiking accident last weekend. Peter was a big supporter of charity so in order to pay tribute we thought we should try raise a bit for one of the charities he supported. details of the event and how to support it can be found at:
If you find the above a worthy event then please feel free to donate as little or as much as possible- any contribution is much appreciated. Sponsorship can be made via the above link or alternatively you could give any donations in person at Dampark to my mum Jan.

if it is any help i.ve been to Gran Canaria numerous times in January and February and it is safe to say it will not be as cold as it was when you were in Majorca ( average early 60,s)
ryanair fly out on a SATURDAY and a TUESDAY from PRESTWICK which in your case helps as the race is on a SUNDAY and you can book 3 day departures

Well done Toni, Barry and David .
Shame about the conditions but great to hear that Toni came 1st . Barry, i didn't know you were running it but doing another marathon so close to the last is going to affect your time so I wouldn't worry about it. You're a pair of Racing Junkies .
David, well done, but watch what company you keep. You'll be up to 100+ races a year if you race with that pair .

Huge big congrats to toni fantastic run and as you say showed everyone how its done..a true star! . Also the dark horse david! excellent run well done..Tom has he got a vest? if not i'm sure it wont be long before he has!

Calvia, Majorca Marathon Sunday 13th December.
Conditions Cold raining and windy ( yes I was surprised too)
Hilly course 2 laps-
MAC IS BACK
Toni McIntosh blitzed this course in exactly 2hrs 50 mins - beating her nearest rival by eight minutes and only four men finished faster.
Home with a trophy the size of the European Cup - no one gave her a glance prior to this race, wee unknown Scottish girl - she was beating them away with a big stick after the race -interviews at the end, lauded by touir company, Majorcan maternity hospitals reports that parents are calling their kids Toni etc
Personally, I'm taking the fifth on this one - don't want to talk about it or talk about why I don't want to talk about it.
Surpise package Seaforth new boy DAVID WHITE - he appeared off the plane - and did the half marathon in a brilliant 1hr 50 - given the course this guy will take 5/ 10 minutes off this year...you heard it here first.

Hi Everyone,
Just a quick message to endorse what Kevan said. I emailed Kev as I don't think I can dedicate time to the forum. However, if anyone wanted to take this on board I would assist them as a secondary admin until their feet were steady on the ground.
The smilies could be moved to a folder on the website to resolve the "photobucket" problem. The rest is a piece of cake.
Another option, as Kevan says, would be to shutdown the existing forum and build a new one from scratch.
Please note that the above does not affect ayrseaforth.co.uk and this would still be updated by me (unless someone else wants a shot at it). It would be good if anyone wants to add information to it, as I lack stuff to update at times. If anyone wants to contribute with missing results, photos, reports then e-mail me at the address at the bottom of the links page.
Didnt win anything in 2007 and 2008 is looking like it will be an equally barren year. I did come second in the 2005 Sport Relief mile along the prom in Ayr, narrowly pipping a 60 year old right at the finish.

Hi all,
long time no.....posting??? Anyway drummondo told me that there were a few problems with the forum of late. All the smilies are in my photobucket account and i neglected it and it didnt like it.
Do the people that are on here regulalry want to have admin rights so they can sort things should they arise. That wont sort the smilie problem though. Or some eager beavers could shut this forum down and start from scratch if they wanted.
